我很难想像自己可以在毕业前最最忙碌的10天里，飞往台湾参加博一老师的展览，一周后再回纽约，一来一回，飞机上就呆了34个小时，加上转机的时间，有差不多40个小时，再加上从Providence3个小时到纽约，从纽约port authority 到机场，50 个小时，在路上。

一回来，学校一堆的deadline，还没调过来时差，回来第一天就是critic，所有的thesis community members 都来了，就差张尕老师，不过我们已经在纽约见过面了。然后就是thesis final deadline. 刚回来的路上，随便去店里吃了点东西，一点味觉都没有，吃了几口，打包带走。到家后，本来打算蒙头大睡，可压力让我完全无法入睡，只是希望自己赶快把学校的事情做完，回国。

之前学校一直都是那么那么努力的工作，总不能在最后这么一“得色”，掉链子吧！回头后，老公已经把我下半年的工作安排好了，我的工作，什么时候有个头呢...

期待着，海南的旅行，年底一定要带着我的老爸老妈总一遭，还有老公的妈妈，哥哥嫂子，他们的娃们...

懂得享受才是生活，恩，憧憬下半年，现在的累，似乎是应该的!

主要有三类：

2－表达艺术家理念（多媒体和传统作品的不同）
在这里，理念又分为

艺术；

3－表达艺术家技术

在这里又分为
技术发展的历史；
空间；
方向（主流和非主流）

这领域太广，需要学习和射猎的知识实在是太多太多，个人能力有限，对于致力于发展的艺术家应该尽早找到方向，不断学习，不断做出有个人创作理念和风格的新媒体作品来！

当然，这，很不容易！

精神上，物质上，需要持续的无条件的持久的努力和坚持... ....

美国傍晚7：40，给自己冲了杯咖啡，特意放慢了煮咖啡的每一个过程，每天按时的“服用”咖啡，是一种精神上的坚持，也是一种习惯了。现在的消费关反而是，再好的电脑，手机，coffee machine都不为过，因为每天，是他们再陪伴我，陪伴我无数个孤独又难熬的一个又一个通宵，内心精神上的身体上的折磨，是无法表述的。。。

电话里，爸爸妈妈对孩子的骄傲，让我觉得似乎，我是一个有点追求的人，虽然在深夜里经常质疑过程里的每一个瞬间：
不知不觉，到这里了；
不知不觉，快研究生毕业了；
不知不觉，找到自己的爱人了；
不知不觉，我开始不那么想做艺术家了；
不知不觉，我从内心里开始厌恶高学历的内心狂躁者；

人这辈子，能找到一个自己的知心爱人，只享受生活里的每一个过程，对未来没有过多的不现实，也没有对追求成功的贪婪，才能获得幸福，才能不那么焦虑的过日子。生活对每一个来说都是非常不容易的，放眼望去，那些正在热烈追逐成功或者已经取得成功后又在煞费苦心的保持成功纪录的人，活的辛苦，牺牲多少，谁又能取代本人而切身体会呢？

人就是不能退缩.... ....

May 2006, Hong village in South China.
Structure: Two main parts Video: 12 passages shot in Hong village. Sound: Combined the recorded presentation of several guides.

Exhibition:

An infrared sensor was set at the stairs of the stairway. The control system of the sensor was input into a computer. A projection equipment which was set at the top floor of the stairway showed the edited video. When no one was on the stairs, the video showed a peaceful Hong village. When someone stepped on the stairs ( the sensor would respond to it), the video would be switched into the sound (very noisy). With the audience came nearer to the equipment, the sound would become louder and louder. When the audience went downstairs and left the equipment, the sound would be lower and finally the video would return.

Description:

Hong village is located in the Northeast part of Yi county in Anhui province. The history of it can be dated from 1131, which is more than 800 years ago.
Since the physiognomy there makes it nearer to the sky, you can see clouds with various of styles just like traditional Chinese traditional painting. Due to the integration of natural beauty and cultural treasure, it is praised as a village in painting.
Many tourists go there for sightseeing. On the day I went there, it was raining lightly with cloudy sky. But it made the village even more beautiful than usual. Nevertheless, I was annoyed by the noisy crowd that broke the serenity and harmony of the village. Standing at a crossroad in the street, I saw a guide introduce the history of the crossroad with some tourists standing behind her. A few seconds later, this scene was repeated by another guide and another group of tourists. It drove me into a kind of illusion that I was watching a DVD with a scene repeated over and over again by using forward and backward mode. Then an idea came into my mind, which results in the production
The idea behind is that people should not break a peaceful and harmonious paradise like Hong village. This production was exhibited at the round stairway of Central Academy of Fine Art.

From youtube I did see a lot of brilliant media installation in processing. It's really great and amazing software. I would like to see all different artists from the world to create very beautiful visual interactive designs. But for me, I want to study processing to create interactive performance piece specially for the China's charity activities.
I hope that my creation performances' piece will show in all different kinds of charitable activities. Personally, I deeply hope the part of rich Chinese will be concerned about the visually-impaired groups who with disabilities and unfortunately suffering from AIDs. So I am thinking what kind of work I want to create using "processing" this magic software although I am not that familiar with it.

M1:

Select one of the AIDs dancing in the public stage in performance－that means AIDS is not terrible specially design for a range of promotional activities.

In the 90's blood donors people infected with HIV about 40,000 people in Henan province . China is the most serious AIDS by the provinces. At that time, blood donation approved by the Government.These infected people have not given compensation. Now he total number of people living with HIV has reached 700,000.

Yan Ran Angel Fund by Chinese pop-star that their child got the harelip this funds initiated advocacy in support of the Chinese Red Cross Foundation and managed to set up a special public funds. China Red Cross Foundation will be the co-sponsor of advocacy, mobilization of resources for the Yan Ran Angel Medical Funds and to raise funds to help them.

I studied to play the piano when I was 5. So I image that maybe I can use this skill to design a performance sound piece to control the screen. I think I might need to make a connection with the piano keyboards.
